Our Fishcamp family is heartbroken over the passing of our dear friend, Mike Kavanaugh.🕊️

Mike wasn’t just part of our story—he helped create so many of the memories that make Fishcamp and Hilton Head Island special. His friendship, laughter, kindness, and the countless moments we shared over the years will never be forgotten. We are incredibly grateful for the time we had together and for the impact he made on so many lives.

As the song says, “Life is a highway,” and while your journey has taken you on ahead of us, your memory will always have a place here at Fishcamp on Broad Creek.

Thank you, Mike, for the memories, the friendship, and the love you shared with all of us. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Mike’s family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.

If you ask for her recommendation for lunch, she’ll tell you to start with the grilled oysters, then order the fried chicken sandwich and save room for a slice of turtle cheesecake! Great service, a positive attitude, and a genuine love for what she does make her a favorite among both guests and staff.💙🐟🫧🥂
