For a year or more I was walking around with a short list close to my heart. A short but specific list of everything we wanted and needed in our next location. In December, a spot became available that checked EVERYTHING on our list. Slightly quirky...but so are we, so that seemed to fit.
For the past three months we've been slowly building this space out to be everything we hoped it would be...fun, connected, beautiful, authentic. We've done quite a bit of it ourselves, which has made it take longer...but it's given us the opportunity to pour love into every corner.
We are just about a week away from soft opening our doors. Will we get everything done in time? Well...we will see. 😆 But we aren't waiting until everything is perfect...this is a work in progress, a space we will continue to build, and love, and grow in for years to come.
Small business ownership is not for the faint of heart. I've woken up most nights wondering if we ordered everything we need, if I scheduled accordingly, or all the things that could go wrong. But most of all, I wake up wondering and hoping, our community sees what we are building.
Emily keeps asking me about a "Grand Opening" and I keep saying "how about we do a secret little micro opening?" and I realize it's because this is still so close to my heart. It's a little baby that I still want to hold tight and keep safe...but this baby is going to fly!
So stay tuned folks...opening dates coming soon, maybe even GRAND OPENING dates.
Lastly, we have so much gratitude for the community that has supported us through this process. We wouldn't be here without you. ❤️
