One of the things we enjoy most about running our food truck is seeing familiar faces.

It was so good to see Connie and Eli again at the Hilo Orchid Show. Connie stayed behind the camera while Eli was kind enough to pose for a quick photo. 😊 They never leave without ordering their favorite brisket and pulled pork, and seeing them always puts a smile on our faces.

Over the years, they have become more than regular customers—they’ve become friends. It’s always nice catching up, even if it’s just for a few minutes in between serving customers. Those little conversations, familiar smiles, and moments like these are what make every event so enjoyable for us.

Connie and Eli, thank you for your friendship and for always supporting our little food truck. It truly means a lot to us, and we always look forward to seeing you both.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Danny, one of our regulars, who made the drive all the way from Kona just to enjoy his favorite Texas Island BBQ once again! 🤠🔥

It had been a while since we’d seen him, so having him stop by made this Independence Day even more special.
