We have transformed a century old icon of Wisconsin’s dairy farms into a charming space that your guests will ask …” how did you ever find this place?” An 1880’s barn loft with ancient timber frame surround and a south wall that opens up to the valley provides a feeling that is one with nature itself. This is where intimate ceremonies are held under the flicker of mid-air suspended candles. After the ceremony, mingle with your guests for a cocktail hour in the lower milking parlor, encased by aged whitewash fieldstone walls, flowing out to natural slate patios with bistro table and market umbrellas. There is also an intimate fireplace seating area on this level. Now it is time to follow your guests back up to the loft level, transformed into an elegant dining area with white linen amongst the ancient timberframe structure. Once all your stories are no longer secret and your guest’s palates have been satisfied, retreat once again to the parlor for a coffee and cake or sweets bar while our kind staff prepares the loft for dancing the night away and a memory that will last a lifetime! The Enchanted Barn takes pride in attention to details that make your wedding like no other. Our motto “Show up and get married” …we take care of the rest! The Enchanted Barn is a seasonal venue, available Spring through Fall. Many times we hear someone say "As soon as I entered the property, I felt this peace come over me and all my senses alerted." This seems to reflect the owners goal upon creation of his vision which was to...awaken all of one's senses. Sight - Filtered light during day and suspended candles by night. Sound - Natures voices by day and reflected acoustics for dancing by night. Smell - You can't beat the country...fresh air and raw smells of every season! Taste - With the owner's discriminating palate in cuisine, selection of our house catererers was not by chance. Touch - No doubt your soul will be soothed with an experience here.
