One year ago, Serratore’s opened its doors! ❤️
Josh, Phil & Pietro had a vision. Before that day, there was so much work to do — hanging pictures, putting up the metal sign, testing pizzas, printing our first pizza boxes & placemats, figuring out the bar, serving our first meals, and occasionally standing around staring under a shelf trying to solve whatever problem had come up that day. 😂 It was all worth it.
Piece by piece, it came together.
We were incredibly lucky to have people who believed in it from the beginning — including Megan, our amazing bar manager, and Mike, our incredible pizza chef, who formulated what we may be a little biased in calling the absolute best pizza. 🍕 And of course, our entire team who helped turn a vision into the Serratore’s you know today.
And then there was YOU. ❤️
Our community showed us so much patience and kindness while we figured things out — gift cards, to-go food, busy nights, new systems and all the little things you don’t fully understand until you open the doors.
You gave us the grace to learn and supported us while we grew. You told your friends, came back for another meal, and trusted us with date nights, family dinners, celebrations, pizza nights and everything in between.
There are so many places you could choose to share a meal, and the fact that you chose Serratore’s this past year means more to Josh, Phil, Pietro and our entire team than we can say.
And to the wives behind the scenes who supported this dream in more ways than most will ever see — thank you. ❤️
To Paul, whose incredible design helped bring Serratore’s to life, and Forest, whose beautiful photography has helped us share our food and our story — thank you for being part of it.
Thank you, Hillsborough, for welcoming us, being patient with us and growing with us.
