It's going to be cold tomorrow night, but all the better for kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew - in this case with beef brisket and tofu) in the cozy dining room. We'll also be toasting vegetable mandu (dumplings), flipping bindaetteok (mungbean pancakes), and simmering jjampong (seafood and noodles in broth).

This weekend is too crazy at Panciuto for us to also cook for Kimchi Yay, so we won't be doing it. In fact, I'm now realizing that Kimchi Yay is a victim of its own success. What I mean is, when Panciuto is busy and Kimchi Yay is busy, which is most of the time, we're having a hard time keeping up with running two restaurants out of one kitchen - imagine that. We need to morph into something a little more streamlined in order to continue to provide two different experiences inside and outside. We've been playing around with pizza thus far and we'll be serving them outside next week, so come check that out. Kimchi Yay, for now, is going to find it's way inside on a few pop-up nights (to be announced) where it'll be bigger and even better. It might find a more permanent home altogether at some point, but for now our hands are full. We will keep this page active with updates as we have more information about Kimchi Yay - like when and where it'll next pop up. Thanks for coming out and eating. We were really inspired by the demand and hope to keep Kimchi Yay alive. See you soon.
