What about the creative way you had to order your food, the servers who gave you just enough "attitude", the music that made your feet tap, and the bottle of ice-cold soda that quenched your thirst? Those are all the wonderful memories we'd love you to experience each time you visit Roadside Dogs. We combine FOOD, FUN, and a BIT OF NOSTALGIA to make for a memorable experience. We are committed to giving you an authentic Chicago-style experience. That starts with a delicious all-beef hot dog. Our 7" brats, 7"Italian sausages, smoked polish, andouille sausages, and veggie dogs are top-notch. Our Italian Beef is thin cut and slow roasted with our secret blend of seasoning. Don't ask for the recipe, our lips are sealed! We use quality buns like the S. Rosen brand and utilize farm-fresh produce as much as possible. We believe in providing you with the best products available. We bring all this to you in our retro 1955 Trotwood. This old canned ham turned hot dog stand is reminiscent of days gone by, and unlike any mobile hot dog trailer, you have ever seen. We named her "Jimmie" after Jim Ebert who brought her back to life and gave her a new purpose. Check out "Jimmie's" transformation photos on our website. With one of a kind hot dog trailer, great service, and food made with love and laughs, we hope to make customers that last!

I'm up before the sunshine this morning because I am so excited!!

Roadside Dogs is making a few changes including; a new exterior and interior design, trailer wrap, lunch menu and ( insert drum roll) ice cream!!

We don't want to give too much away before the big reveal,but we assure you you're gonna love it!

Think all of your Roadside Dogs favorites, grilled pound cake,old fashioned pie ala mode, cones,sundaes, authentic banana splits, and more!

We're working hard to make Roadside Dogs a place you'll love to visit.

The restaurant is closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as we complete the interior remodel and painting,but you can catch us on the food truck from 4- close on Friday at Pirate's Plaza: Food Truck Lot on Friday.

An Update from Roadside Dogs

To our amazing customers,we want to let you know
what's been going on.

Unfortunately,the truck we use to pull our food trailer has become undrivable and currently awaits repairs at the shop. Because of this unexpected breakdown, we've had to cancel all of our food truck events beginning Sunday.

We sincerely apologize to anyone who planned to visit us.
We know many of you look forward to your favorite dog, and we miss seeing you too.

Good news, the truck is scheduled for repairs at the end of the week, and if everything goes well we will be back on the road next week ready to serve all your favorites.

Thank you for your patience and understanding and for supporting our family business.
