🥭Bee Paw-sitive!— pawpaw ice cream with a honey swirl
🎃 Oh! Here Come the Nuts — butternut squash ice cream with maple glazed walnuts
🍎 Kaelyn’s Apple Cider Float — made with Broom’s Orchard apple cider

Don’t worry—he made more! 🥭🍯

Bee Paw-sitive is back! This batch was made with pawpaws from Stoecklin's Orchard and from our friend Scott in Hillsboro. And just look at that pretty Hopper honey swirl on top!

Pawpaw season is VERY short, so come get it while you can. You don’t want to miss this one!

So cool that Land Home & Farm Real Estate is featuring Hillsboro on TV! And we’re pretty excited that Hillsboro Creamery got to be a little part of it. Thank you for including us!

The local businesses downtown are a HUGE reason Tim and I decided to move to Hillsboro. When we first moved here, the people and businesses downtown really did make this place feel like home to us. ❤️

They’re not exactly easy to clean. 😅 There are quite a few seeds, although thankfully they’re big. But Tim and our team have been working hard to keep processing these Midwest tropical fruits.

It’s been a whole year since you’ve been able to enjoy this one — and it went FAST last year!

Bee Paw-sitive is a paw paw ice cream with a honey swirl. 🥭🍯

If you’ve never had a paw paw, they’re a fruit native to Illinois, but they taste surprisingly tropical! To me, they’re kind of like a banana custard flavor. And they are SO GOOD!

We’re so grateful to have Stoecklin's Orchard right here close to home so we can get these delicious fruits. And then we take it up another notch with honey from Hopper's Honey Bees

Tim and I are back from our trip, and we’re excited to start refilling all those ice cream buckets you emptied while we were gone!

When I got to the shop today, I found these adorable glasses in our lost & found. And I LOVE that they match our tile! 😍

I think these may have been left behind Friday or Saturday. If you recognize them, please help us get them back to their owner!

Tim and I decided to beat the heat and go in search of some fall weather. But we had another very important mission:
POFFERTJES!🇳🇱

If you tried our tiny Dutch pancakes at Old Settlers, you know how good they are! We even had a couple of Dutch visitors stop by and try ours. They said they were pretty close to the real thing!

But you can never be too sure… 😊 Since we’ll be serving them again at the Harvest Market, and we’re always trying to bring you the best, we thought the only responsible thing to do was head to the Netherlands and do a little quality control check in their home country. 🇳🇱🥞

While we’re gone, our team will do a fantastic job taking care of you, just like they always do!
