Carmen in the Garden is coming to Cellar Hand 🥕🍷⁠

A one-night dinner inspired by the herbs and vegetables growing in Carmen’s garden and the wines she loves to pour.⁠

Chef Sable and the team built the menu around cucamelons and rosemary from the garden, alongside pours of My Fruit Trees, Pét Pink, and Pali Vineyard Pinot Noir.⁠

Last night with .hart.wines

A few of our favorite bottles from their lineup, paired with dishes from our kitchen. Grüner, Sauvignon Blanc (in two very different directions), Cabernet Franc and some new and familiar faces who are about it.

We’re pouring the wines and offering the pairing menu again tonight at the bar for any last-minute plans, and next week as well.

This Wednesday at Cellar Hand: Luna Hart Wines 🍷⁠

Join us for a special dinner built around the wines of Santa Barbara County winemaker Gretchen Voelcker of .hart.wines.⁠

We’ll be pouring a lineup of thoughtful, low-intervention wines alongside a three-course pairing menu from the Cellar Hand kitchen. Gretchen will be with us throughout the evening, pouring wines and spending time with guests.⁠

The pairing menu will be available all night, alongside our regular dinner menu, with select Luna Hart wines also available by the glass.⁠

Koji-cured ribeye, finished with herbs, olio verde, and puffed beef tendon.⁠
⁠
The tendon gets lightly cured, braised, pressed for seven days, dehydrated, then fried in rendered tallow until crisp — chef Sable calls them “animal crackers.”⁠
⁠
Finished with house fermented burnt pita aminos, cured egg yolk, cornichons, shallot, and pickled mustard seeds.⁠
⁠
