Today we celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to our Old Hights Family ✨

A few words from one of our owners Lee

Reel Determined…words used to paint a picture of an avid charter fisherman with an honest and resolute ability to get things done at sea. For us at Old Hights, these words also describe the outdoor-loving family man whose honest and resolute leadership constructed our building. Whether it be the sun that pours in through the windows and warms the salvaged wood that he discovered, or the twinkle of the beer garden lights he hung that mimic a star-filled night, we are reminded of our friend. Please join us today, beginning at 2pm , as we release Reel Determined, an American Blonde Ale, to honor and remember our friend, Jimmy Zavacky.

Old Time Jam

Old-time music was the name for real mountain-type folk music and is the main foundation for bluegrass. It is the kind of music that Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, the Stanley Brothers and most rural people prior to the mid 1920s were raised with. It nearly died out in the mid-20th century but has found new life! Come out for a great night of old-time music with a string band featuring local musicians!
