Thank you everyone who came to our soft opening. I wanted to extend my most sincere thanks, as we are very new to this and appreciate everyone’s patience after taking in so many orders. We even sold out a few items for the day! Wow! Looking forward to a future grand opening event. Good afternoon everyone. It’s been a few months since we’ve seen our favorite hot chicken spot in operation, and I’m here to break the silence and let you know what’s been happening behind the scenes ☺️.

My name is Nazah and I’ve recently purchased WTC’s business in hopes of starting my own, since unfortunately WTC has retired its operations last year. I have observed their popularity and presence in downtown Highland Park, and after much consideration and inspiration, have decided to keep Nashville Hot Chicken and WTC’s menu as the forefront of our new shop, Ara’s Hot Chicken 🐓.

I have been working closely with Alvin, the previous owner of What the Cluck to learn his recipes in order to give everyone the ol’ hot chicken they know and love. We apologize if these changes weren’t the best news, but rest assured I will try my best to deliver that familiar and delicious Nashville hot chicken back to Highland Park soon ❤️❤️❤️ Feel free to DM us with any questions or concerns.

We will be opening at 4PM today to allow first responders and city officials to mitigate the current issues NJ is facing. Opening later allows our employees to have adequate time to travel to our location to make the delicious hot chicken you love!
