After waiting to make sure we got a wide variety of suggestions for our Gold Star Pizza, we’ve officially made our decision… ⭐️
We’re going with Brent Reader’s suggestion:
A meat lover’s style pizza topped with crushed red peppers 🌶️
and the meaning behind it is exactly why this one stood out.
He shared that when he and my father were in Ramadi, Iraq, the chow hall always made sure they had plenty of meats and high protein foods to keep their energy up for missions. Protein wasn’t just food it was fuel. Strength. Survival!

Because they were all a little spicy… and they HAD TO BE.❤️
There were so many creative and meaningful ideas, and I truly appreciate every single comment. However this one just makes the most sense to me. It represents strength, sacrifice, resilience, and the fire our veterans carry.
So our Gold Star Pizza will be a bold, protein-packed meat lover’s pie finished with crushed red pepper made with purpose.
Also don’t forget for every Gold Star Pizza purchased, $10.50 will be donated to veterans in need! 🇺🇸
