Congratulations to our best employee, Judah Ruiz!! Alongside his academic accolades, he makes the BEST green Chile cheeseburger this side of the Rio Grande! Congratulations Judah!

We present to you our 9th grade student of the month, Judah Ruiz. Judah is the son of Andrika and Richard Ruiz. His favorite subject is math, because he likes to compete with classmates and enjoys learning new things. After graduation, Judah plans to go to law school at UNM Law! We asked Judah what he thinks the best thing about being a Bear is, and he said, "everyone here only wants the best for you and is willing to help you succeed."

Mrs. Newton says that Judah is "always a good leader for his peers, always respectful, and is kind hearted".

Hanukkah is a celebration of light that refuses to go out. 🕎 As believers in Yeshua, we recognize Him as the Light of the world—the One who shines in the darkness and cannot be overcome. During this season of dedication, we remember that true light doesn’t come from oil alone, but from God Almighty, Who steps into time and illuminates every shadow.

This season, as beignets and sufganiyot are being fried, and candles are lit, we celebrate the greater Light Who brings hope, truth, and life.

My FAVORITE compliment so far…

“THANK YOU sooooo much for the DELICIOUS jambalaya & those beignets… dare I say it…. Far more better than Cafe du Monde!! We bring boxes home from every trip to make but OMG if you told me you dip your big toe in your batter I’d say start putting your whole foot in it cause the flavor is 🧑‍🍳 😘 I would throw away these boxes from Cafe du Monde & happily buy fresh beignets from you all everyday all day!!!! Back to the jambalaya holy cow x100 I couldn’t stop eating it!! I was so full but I had to finish eating it cause the flavor just kept calling me back!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!”

Had an amazing time serving at the Otero Cookie Crumble at The Worship Center last night. We didn’t have time for pictures but we did have some time to try some amazing Japanese Chicken Curry from Garden Isle Grill. Definitely recommend them!

Winter nights hit different when you’ve got a warm cup of Louisiana comfort in your hands. Café Au Lait is pulling up to the Cookie Crumble at The Worship Center, Alamogordo with hot chicken & sausage jambalaya— rich, smoky, and packed with that slow-building Louisiana flavor.
And yes… the beignets will be hot, fluffy, and covered in that perfect snowfall of powdered sugar.
