Camp Maranatha - NC To present the gospel of Jesus Christ in a manner as to bring young people to Christ!

Camp Maranatha has approximately 69 acres including: two fenced ball fields; sheltered torpedo ball area; six basketball courts; swimming pool; Fort Victory (for outdoor camping); nature trail; chapel with seating for over 600, office, and classrooms, six separate buildings with three cabins each for a total of 18 camper's cabins that will house over 280 campers and staff; four bath houses; admini

strative building with director's quarters, nurses station and additional office space, kitchen and dining area that will seat 200-250, with cook's quarters; a pavilion with seating for 200; barbeque shelter; camp store; open air snack shelter; and a fishing pond.

Final Newsletter before camp month!!!! We can't wait to be back on the Camp season is almost here, and we are SO excited! Our final newsletter before camp is here, filled with important reminders, exciting updates, and a few last details before we kick off camp on June 16.

For those who work in the kitchen!! A new cook top with working griddle, an additional deep fryer, and an upgraded suppression system. Thankful for all who helped make this happen Tony Dixon, Scott Pulliam, Luis, and the crew from Sloop fire maintenance. And thank you to Bishop George McLaughlin for purchasing the fryer when he was in charge.

Today, our camping ministry lost one of the fiercest warriors for the Kingdom, Pastor Nina Davis.

For years, Pastor Nina faithfully poured into this ministry, ministering at camp, serving as a high school camp director, and fighting tirelessly for the next generation. She was the kind of person who would charge hell head-on for these students. She prayed fiercely, loved deeply, and never hesitated to stand in the gap for a young person who needed hope, truth, or someone to believe in them.

To know Pastor Nina was to know strength, boldness, compassion, and unwavering faith. She carried a fire for God and for students that left a lasting mark on every camp she touched.

This loss has deeply impacted our directors, leaders, volunteers, and campers. So many lives were changed because of her obedience to God and the way she poured herself into people year after year. The weight of her absence is heavy across this ministry today, but so is the gratitude for the legacy she leaves behind.

There are generations of students who know Jesus more deeply because Pastor Nina answered the call to serve. Her fingerprints are all over this ministry, and her impact will continue for years to come.

Please keep her family and all who loved and served alongside her in your prayers.
