Since Aug 1, customers collect stamps at local coffee shops Joy Bar Coffee Co, Lil’s Coffee Bar, and DeBeen Espresso for a gift basket raffle on Nov 8.

Pick up a Coffee + Books card and have it stamped, with your purchase, at DeBeen through Oct! To be entered in the raffle, return the card to the library after earning 5 stamps.

Happy birthday weekend, Leah-Grace!

The birthday girl was treated yesterday afternoon at DeBeen HP. Leah-Grace says:

"Fri was my birthday! I got the iced Toasty Ghosty with whole milk and LOVED it!" So sweet! The baristas fixed the latte special with sprinkles.

"I stop by to pick up a drink or do homework at DeBeen at least once or twice a week. For my birthday, my mom surprised me with a little party in the High Point coffee shop. My friends and family came to stop by! Truly my favorite coffee in High Point. My favorite people at my favorite place!"

That's so wonderful! Best birthday wishes and thanks for sharing! Hope to see you again soon, another year older!

From "dangerously good" yesterday to getting started early on a dark, rainy, perhaps spooky Sat morning.

And from a neighborhood walk last week in High Point with DeBeen HP as the meeting location for the All Girls Walk Club, to every week running with Cafecito Miles in Winston.

Cofounder Sami says, "We're an all women’s run club! We meet at Bailey Park in Innovation Quarter almost every Sat at 6:30 am. DeBeen WS is our coffee shop of choice!

"We welcome women of all running levels and paces, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned runner. Our motto is 'No one left behind!' We’re all about building a community, making connections, and encouraging women to stay active while having fun!

"Of course, our Sat wouldn’t be complete without our post-run coffee stop at DeBeen! Because what’s better than good miles, good company, and a little cafecito to start your weekend?

"My order was an amazing hot 20 oz Toasty Ghosty latte with whole milk! The morning run in the rain and coffee were therapeutic."

It's Fri-yay! Do your weekend plans include stopping by DeBeen for something good? Maybe a bit wicked for the season?

Thank you to Avary and her dad Patrick, who visited DeBeen WS for the first time this morning. Avary says, "He got a hot Americano. I got a tall iced sugar-free caramel latte with 2% milk.

"Dangerously good! The barista nailed the milk ratio. The caramel syrup was some of the best I’ve ever had.

"I live in Winston with my husband who is a Wake Law student! My parents are visiting from DC. I had never been to DeBeen, so wanted to try it out. I'll be back!"

Happy Mon!

Always great to see Ramsey, and this time he brought his close friends Amber and Brandon. Hanging out on yesterday's beautiful Sun afternoon at DeBeen HP!

They chose seasonal drinks: Ramsey loves his new "usual," an iced Toasty Ghosty with 2% milk. Amber went with a Jack o' Lantern chai with whole milk.

Hey, adorable Louie! A five-year-old merle Goldendoodle, he visited DeBeen WS with his dad Kyle on Thurs morning. Louie got "the banana walnut bread. He also had a carefully crafted pup cup. His favorite!

"And then of course for dad, an iced sugar-free vanilla latte. We're still on our summer drinks. We haven't transitioned to our cold weather drinks."

Awesome! We always love seeing Louie at DeBeen and his participation in the cute socialization classes. Notice that, while out and about town, Louie is wearing his service dog vest.
