In reality, I spent a year going to coffee conferences, connecting with roasters, meeting green traders, and watching my margins. All of that BEFORE I made all of the mistakes that happen to most of us(power outages at the end of a roast, crazy loud drum rub, not cleaning all of the nooks and crannies and endless gears that need oil). Learning happens over hundreds of hours and realizing that being humble to what you don’t already know is apart of growth.
