Usually around this time of year I'm getting my menus together.
With a sad Heart, I hate say that I will not be catering to Highbridge Hills this year for tournaments.
I had a 3 year plan, which turned into 5. My plan was to establish a small shop to operate out of so that I could keep my supplies on the hill. It was pretty tough operating every year from a tent. My vision was to operate all season long and to provide all necessities needed for your disc golf experience.
When I started, I wanted to offer a spot that disc golfers could have a filling, tasteful plate. I believe that I had accomplished that! A opportunity to eat without timely leaving the property for just a burger.
With the attendance being great during the Covid thing, business was good. But, I slowly seen the attendance drop along with my ticket sales. It became a fight to make great food and still keep my head above water.
Without going into how life changes, we all know about inflation and the price of gas!
Again, I want to thank everyone who came to my caterings. I loved cooking for U guys and gals. I want to thank Mt. Man for the opportunity to take in everything that the hill had to offer! It was filled with so many memories! I also want to thank Brooke and Brian from Northern Lights Disc Golf for allowing me to serve food for their tournaments. So many memories... also for anyone who "helped" with setup/takedown of my equipment up there. And a special thanks to Brenda for being my sous chef/dishwasher/gofer(go for this, go for that) without her, my service would have been chaotic 🤪 And last but not least, for Remi... my dish pre-cleaner!
Again, with a heavy heart ❤️. I'm going to miss the love I felt on the hill while we were there.
Good luck to everyone with life, and I'll see U on the courses soon!
