A love letter to Jack’s,
Eight years ago today I made the BEST (and craziest) decision to mark my first day as owner of Jack’s Country Restaurant. Between my mother, my mentors, my passion for hosting, food, and community, it was inevitable that I’d take on the challenge of trying to fill those shoes. Jack paved the way and I was grateful for the opportunity to step in. Higganum is special. It’s small, sweet, rugged, and gracious. I loved it so much that I moved here. I can’t tell you all how much the support of this town has given us, during hard times, great times, pandemics, highs, lows, and everything in between. I pray that Jack’s remains a meeting place for family, friends, newcomers, bake sales, fundraisers, and chit chats. The staff never wavers, the friendliest, most supportive coworkers you’ll ever meet. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, my family to yours, our staff, our food, our love….thats the BEST part of Jack’s! We are always here and beyond grateful that you are too. 🍳🥓🧇🥞🥯☕️Cheers to another 8 and many more!!!!!
