Hey Higgs Fam, this was supposed to be our last weekend of the season, but unfortunately we don’t have enough staff to open.

We want to thank everyone who came out to support us this year. We had a great season and without all of you it wouldn’t have been possible.

We are always blown away by the support of the town and our gratitude for all of you and our new customers is beyond anything we could ever express in writing.

On Tuesday august 8th if anyone would like to stop by from 12-4 while we are cleaning up we will be selling $5 packed pints of our Giffords (MANY flavors) or soft serv (vanilla, chocolate & twist) ice cream.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but it’s next to impossible to run Higgs without the proper staffing. We hope everyone understands and we look forward to next year and the 2024 season.

For those of you who don’t know, you can come see us at the Hebron Harvest Fair in September in our building where we sell our burgers and dogs. We hope to see you there!

Starting off the second week of showcasing our favorite bites .ct is Michael’s favorite sandwich.

A Fried to order, house made crispy chicken sandwich with our own roasted sweet bell peppers, mayo, lettuce and American cheese on a buttered and grilled roll 🤤

Really doesn’t get much better than that 🙌🏻 available all day and every day we’re open. Just ask for “Mike’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich”

Over the next 6 weeks to finish out our season we’re going to highlight our favorite things to eat here .ct

This week we’re going to start with MY (Becca 🙃) FAVORITE hot dog!!

It all starts with a buttered and toasted roll, a hot dog, American cheese, seasoned and grilled sauerkraut, house made chili, our own sweet pepper relish, a little ketchup, some yellow mustard and a sprinkle of diced onion!!

I know, I know….it sounds like a LOT…but it’s so good you won’t regret 🤤

This is a hot dog you can order all day and every day we’re open.

If you DO decide you want to take the plunge just ask for “Becca’s Dog” and we’ll know EXACTLY what you’re talking about.

Hey Higgs Fam!! Today and Friday we will be open our normal hours 11:00am - 8:00pm. We will be closed this Saturday and Sunday for a special event out of state.

Next week we return to our normal 4 day week open 11:00am - 8:00pm to kick off the last 6 weeks of our 2023 season!!!

Bring in summer with one of our Fresh Squeezed Blue Raspberry Lemonades with cutie little shark and peach ring gummies!!! It’s giving beach day vibes and we’re here for it ☀️

10$ with half price refills!!! Don’t forget our lemonade cups can be brought to ANY fair or festival in ANY state and almost all vendors will refill your cups. The only difference is the price is going to vary dependent on each vendor. So remember….DON’T THROW YOUR CUPS AWAY!!!
