As many of you have already heard, Hannah's South in Viewmont will be closing at the end of this month. With new property owners comes change. Our building will be torn down to make way for new businesses in Northgate Plaza.
We will certainly miss all of our Viewmont customers as you all have been very supportive of us. We have made many new friends along the way and cherish those relationships so very much. We do, however, have our original location, 6 miles south on 127 in Mt View and we also have a smaller location in Granite Falls that we hope you will continue to support. You may even see some familiar faces at our other locations as I have offered transfers to our current Viewmont employees who wish to stay on.
Many people have asked if we will relocate. We will not. This may have been God's way of pushing me into slowing down just a little bit. I was raised in Viewmont and actually had my first job in this very building back in 1976, (do the math), I could be a little tired!
Seriously though, our last day open will be Friday, June 28th. We have always closed the week of July 4th for vacation and that seemed like a good stopping point which will give us time to clear out the building as our lease comes to an end mid July.
I want to thank and acknowledge Tonya Brockwell, our Director of Operations, for going along with me on this ride. We opened Mt View in 2007 and have had the opportunity to open several locations along the way. Our current Viewmont location and our first Viewmont location (where Liazzo's is now) have had great ambiance and success and that is because of you and your vision for our company. Many heartfelt thanks go out to Tonya for always having my back and pushing us in a forward direction.
I would also like to recognize Traci Minton Williams and Jerry Hunt, two of our managers, and Tammy Justice, one of our servers who have been with us since we opened our current location and even before. Love and appreciate you guys very much.

Monday thru Saturday 10:30-8pm and the Drive thru is open until 8:30pm (828-327-4227) Again, we want to thank you for 1o+ wonderfully blessed years in Viewmont. It was a dream come true for me. We love you and were honored to serve you over the years.

I am attaching some facts as I know them to be true as there are always many questions and crazy rumors.
1) Dog Pound is relocating (John is younger than I am) and he gets to take his building!
2) The back building is staying but I do not know who all the tenants will be (not apartments though)
3) There will be three outparcels. Gas, restaurant and coffee. I have named them on another site but many people want to argue in unbelief so we will just wait and see.
