Well I know I haven’t posted on here in quite a while, but it’s been a good day. Today I got my invitation to the National BBQ Championship Cookoff in Meridian, Tx. To say I was shocked is an understatement. But it’s also been one of the things I’ve wanted to knock off of my bbq bucket list. It will be held October 26-27. I’ll post more in the coming weeks.

Well after losing a valued team mate, battling Mother Nature, Sports Pig BBQ came away with 3rd place chicken, no where to be found ribs and 6th place brisket out of 30 teams at the Barrels and BBQ Cookoff. Good to see some old friends, see Jeremy Rivera and his team out there and met some new friends. See you all out there again soon. Safe travels home everyoneđź‘Ťđź‘Ť
