As I reflect on the past few days, I'm filled with a sense of wonder and awe, prompting me to ask why. Today, we're doing something special - instead of serving food, our special is all about slowing down, cherishing moments, and embracing our loved ones with a little extra love. We never truly understand what someone is going through until we've walked in their shoes. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Thomas family, and we remember Austin, a dear friend to my son and a beloved member of our extended family. A collection bucket has been set up at the diner to help with funeral expenses, with all funds collected going directly to the funeral home and any remaining amount being set aside for Austin's daughter.
