Today was bittersweet. Today is Jason & Trish's 25th wedding anniversary. Today is also the 5th anniversary of Stemm's Café and Coffee Shoppe. The business was our anniversary gift to each other 5 years ago, well more like Jason's gift to Trish, but that doesn't matter. 🤣Anyway, today was bittersweet, not just because we are no longer in business, but also because today we were forced to get out of denial and come to the realization that we are going to be closed indefinitely. We had been hanging onto hope that one day soon we would be able to reopen our dream. However, today our food trucks & some of the equipment were repossessed due to default on our loans. We just couldn't secure enough income to keep going. Man, that hurts. It's embarrassing and depressing. This is definitely not the update that we wanted to give, but we feel we owe it to our loyal customers, followers, and friends to give an honest update. Who knows if this is our forever situation, but it is sadly our present situation. These tire tracks are all that's left of our business, besides a few items in storage and the memories we made. Please pray that we are able to sell the remaining items so that we can pay for the bankruptcy before they start garnishing Jason's wages. Be on the lookout soon for us to post the items for sale. Thank you all for your support throughout the years. We miss you all soo soo much!! And please wish us a Happy Anniversary because this has not been an easy road for us lately, but today did show us that we need to stick together through this! 🥰
