It is with a heavy heart that Missy and I announce that Big Muddy Coffee Co’s time has come to an end. This is a difficult post to write and I have written it several times and still don’t know what to say. We would like to thank all of our wonderful supporters that have become so much more than customers, but true friends. Theo put it best, “it’s not about the coffee!” Together with our patrons, we built a community. The stories of connections, help for others, and friendships would take so many days to recount. This is happening, not because of chain stores or other competitors, it is a result of many circumstances we have dealt with over the course of this year. Missy and I just need to take a break. Saturday September 23 will be our last day. We contemplated offering special orders of our “famous” sausage balls, but we just cannot at this time. That doesn’t mean there might not be an opportunity for those later this year if we can partner with a kitchen to do so properly. Please stop in just to say hi before our final day.
