This week, we're proud to recognize Jessica Hurdle as our Toyota of Hernando Community Star of the Week! ❤️🇺🇸

Some people serve their country. Some serve their community. Jessica has dedicated her life to doing both.

Jessica proudly serves our country as an active-duty member of the 164 Air National Guard Airlift Wing, balancing military service with family, business, and a heart for helping others.

Many years ago, Jessica was a member of The Baddour Center Traveling Choir, where she had the opportunity to get to know Mayor John, a longtime resident of The Baddour Center. It's a connection she still treasures today.

Inspired by the recipes, traditions, and Korean heritage passed down from her mother, Jessica and her husband, Brandon, own Pok Cha's a local restaurant, catering business, and food truck that has become a favorite throughout our community. Together, they've built a business that brings people together through great food, family traditions, and genuine hospitality. Every meal is a tribute to Jessica's mom's cooking and her Korean roots.

Jessica has also made a lasting impact through education. She served as an Academic Coach for DeSoto County Schools, where she worked closely with high school seniors, encouraging and guiding them as they earned their diplomas. Her passion for helping others succeed has touched countless students and families throughout our community. 🎓❤️

Jessica and Brandon have proudly called Hernando, Mississippi, home for many years and are grateful to be part of such an amazing community.

Jessica is the proud mother of Shelby, Savanna, and Sarah, and a loving grandmother to Jet. One of her greatest joys is watching her middle daughter, Sarah, proudly follow a path of service by joining the United States Navy.

Whether she's serving our country, welcoming customers at Pok Cha's, catering an event, or spending time with family, Jessica leads with humility, kindness, and a genuine love for people.
