🌭 Wurstfest Hall of Fame Inductee 🌭

We are proud to honor our newest inductee into the Wurstfest Hall of Fame — Ralph Eikermann. Ralph was inducted at this year's Wurstfest Sausage Competition Awards Ceremony at Stone Hill Winery.

Born and raised in the Hermann area, Ralph’s story is rooted in tradition, family, and a deep love for the craft of sausage making. From learning alongside his Grandpa Ben to carrying on the skills passed down through generations, Ralph has spent a lifetime perfecting his craft.

For decades, Ralph has been a part of a cherished tradition — gathering with friends each winter to make sausage, share stories, and keep a way of life alive. Whether working with classic whitetail or experimenting with elk, antelope, wild boar, and more, he brought both passion and creativity to everything he made.

Over the past half century, Ralph hasn’t just made sausage — he’s helped pass this tradition on to generations of hunters, young and old. That legacy is what Wurstfest is all about.

His contributions to our community, our heritage, and the spirit of Wurstfest make him truly deserving of this honor.
