Former Texas Tech Receiver Ja'Deion High Named to U.S. National Team for Final Flag Football World
Championship Before LA28

Today, USA Football announced that former Texas Tech receiver Ja'Deion High will be part of the final roster representing the U.S. Men's National Team at the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championship in Düsseldorf, Germany this August.

Düsseldorf represents the final world championship before flag football and Team USA Football make their Olympic debut at LA28.

High, in his third year with the U.S. Men's National Team, was Texas Tech's second-leading receiver in 2018 with 62 receptions for 804 yards and four touchdowns, earning a nomination for the Burlsworth Trophy as the nation's top former walk-on.

After a stint at Arizona Cardinals rookie camp, the Hereford, Texas native and current Lubbock resident transitioned to flag football and quickly became one of Team USA's leading receivers, helping the U.S. capture its fifth consecutive IFAF Flag Football World Championship in Finland in 2024.

In March, High tallied four touchdowns in three games at the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, flag football's future Olympic venue, as Team USA went a perfect 3-0 against rosters featuring NFL stars.
