Women-Produced Coffee Beans From Peru
The name Warmikuna means ´women´ in Qechua, one of Peru´s oldest languages. In 2010, a handful of women coffee producers joined our Volcafe Way cluster in Junin´s coffee growing region. Twelve years later, the Warmikuna cluster was born. Today, it is comprised of 55 thriving women who have followed Volcafe Way agronomic standards and have demonstrated a leading role in the coffee business.

Six business model farms are currently spearheading the profitable sustainability and regenerative practices. These farms act as showcases through which other producers can see proper technical training in action. Through their efforts, a highly traceable and empowering coffee like this can exist. With notes of brown sugar, caramel, dark chocolate, and dried fruit, Warmikuna Women’s Coffee evokes warmth and sweetness in every cup.

We are partnering with Friends of The San Pedro River, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the San Pedro River. We will be donating a portion of proceeds from every bag of SPCR coffee sold to support their efforts.

Founded in 1987, the FSPR is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the river through advocacy, education, and interpretation. We are thrilled to be part of their journey and look forward to supporting all their conservation efforts in and around the San Pedro River in Cochise County. Learn more here:

Part of our mission from day one was, and will always continue to be, sustainment of our partnered farmers and the fair trading practices involved in getting coffees from around the world from their farms to your cup. We're really thrilled about this Nicaraguan that just landed. We've been working with the roast profile to dial in what we think brings out the best in this bean. It's touted as a medium brightness but given the slightly increased development time, the acidity is noticeably reduced, allowing the chocolate notes to really shine.
