There’s always a few sure signs of the seasons changing. The biggest one for myself is the rising of the sun. As I readied the Tavern for another day this morning I noticed the lack of light outside. So I sat down to embrace the changing of the season. Another summer gone. The seasons come and go so fast. It’s important to take those moments and find gratitude within them. We get caught up in the day to day and forget to be thankful that we’re blessed to see another season. I myself began thinking about how grateful I am for our customers, our community support, our amazing staff, the relationships we’ve all formed, my supportive family at home and the pride of carrying on the tradition of Metzgers. So I challenge each and every one of you to take second today and breathe. Remind yourself of everything you have to be grateful for. Not everyone is blessed enough to see another season. If you want leave a comment and tell us what you’re grateful for. Have an amazing day and we look forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces. 🍂😁

The last week has been crazy here at The Tavern. From school starting back to the multiple large pre orders we’ve done. We just wanted to say thank you to those of you that have stayed patient with us. And to those that have chose to stay local and support small business, we are beyond grateful🙏. Our newest special has officially landed 🛸. Our habanero hot honey ham sandwich is a must try. We took our ham that everyone loves, shaved it down, drizzled it with a house made habanero hot honey glaze, melted Swiss cheese and topped with pickles for the perfect crunch. 😍😋
