Mr. Indolfo Bazaldua started his own business. Not knowing what all it would take or if his community would accept him. After he had worked for years at local restaurants in Henderson, he finally decided and was able to open his own little shop making tortillas and tacos. It wasn’t easy! Being a Mexican American that barely spoke English and having to fight with the regulations/codes with the city so many times just to get the approval to open he finally went from a small room to a full restaurant & became the proud owner of LA FLOR DE GALEANA on June 27,2003! Finally his long time dream was happening!!! It was a struggle over the years, but a blessing also. We are beyond grateful to our community for so many years & letting us be part of their family as well. Not only have yall been there for us & have seen our family grow up, we have seen so many customers grow up, grow old and some we didn’t get to say bye too. Nonetheless, we are truly blessed to have had so many people follow us throughout the years! Not even Covid stopped us! It has been challenging at times, but having and running your own business is no joke. Mr. Bazaldua has had his fair share of positive things as well as negative, but he always overcame what ever obstacle was in his way with God always leading his way. So with that being said we have decided to CLOSE our doors AFTER 24 years on February 23,2024! This decision was not easy. His decision has been thought out for the past year, while having to deal with cancer, which he beat! At his 75 years of age, he is ready to RETIRE COMPLETELY and enjoy time at home with his family and dear friends. We are beyond blessed to have had the honor of being part Henderson’s Business community for over 20years! We will miss all our customers & Life time friends, all the orders & Especially Wednesday Enchiladas! This chapter in his life is closing on a good note & can’t wait what God has planned for us next! Thank you from the bottom of our corazónes ❤️ Y’all come see us before we close. Have a yummy Mexican meal with us or just stop by and say Hi! Im pretty sure Mr. Bazaldua would love it!!! Thank y’all for the support throughout the years!!
