Midwest Sweetie is our Memphis-style sweet barbecue sauce. It’s 10 years in the making, features a touch of honey, and is named for my grandma, Marilyn Kocher.

Though it’s sweet, it’s not as sweet as her.

Before any doors officially open, we'd love to give you a taste of what's coming.

Stop by anytime Thursday, August 13, between 5:00 & 7:00 PM at 48 S Holloway in Henderson for free samples of King Bee Bar-B-Que. We'll be serving a taste of our barbecue, a few classic sides, and a couple of our signature desserts, including our Burnt Honey Banana Pudding.

Meet the owner, check out the space, and hear a little about the dream that's taking shape.

We launched our Kickstarter this weekend! Thanks so much for all who have supported thus far! If you have't gotten a chance yet, check it out. You can learn more about the King Bee story and choose from a variety of reward tiers, including barbecue sauce, limited-edition merchandise, launch party invitations, and permanent recognition in the King Bee's "Hall of Flame."
