Good Morning

So yesterday we had to close at 3pm

The same is going to happen today
We are closing at 3pm

The safety and welfare of my staff is most important
Without them we can’t produce.

With the extreme heat here in Vegas
And then the added heat of working in a kitchen,
My cook had an episode, let’s call it on Thursday evening, we finished the night off but he was not doing good
He stayed home yesterday,
Came back today, but nowhere near 100%
So he’s going home to recover
With other staff out for various reasons
I think it’s better to retreat a little, regroup and be ready for Tuesday.
Hopefully !!

I realize it could be an inconvenience,
But better to do it now, than half arse it

The well being of my staff is the most important

What a week!!!!
Super proud of the Codfather
We only made the top 50 yelp elite best restaurants at the startbof the week

And finished Silver in Best of las Vegas in cultural food

Well we did it !!
5 years of trading at the Codfather
Can’t believe we opened mid COVID
When the world was on it’s knees
And still here today slinging chips!!!
Its been incredible

Thank you everyone for the support, custom and friendship its produced
Im so proud of it
Special thanks to Lee Bennett, first customer
Dan Burke for bringing the taxis
And all who turned up and continue to do so

Hi everyone, Good Morning

So we did a little sneaky opening on Tuesday
Where we just opened the door and welcomed you in and thank you it is so very much appreciated,

But I have bad news today,

We got broken into last night
They did some damage and I’m not able to open today!!!
We are cleaning up and making it right.

Im so so sorry to inconvenience everyone
Especially this early into the new place
We shall be back on Tuesday as normal

The move is coming !

As of last night Saturday July 13 2024
the Codfather will be closed
so we can make the move to the new spot!

If I don’t do it now, I never will!
With everything that happened last week,
Water, heat then last nights power cut.
The time is now

It shouldn’t be too long and it’s only four doors away

It’s been incredible
On to the next step
