Dilly Potato & Egg Salad🥚🥚🥚

-Dilly potato and egg salad is a classic and comforting side dish, perfect for picnics, barbecues, or as a side for a hearty meal.

Ingredients:

4 pounds medium red potatoes (about 14), peeled and halved
5 hard-boiled large eggs
1 cup chopped dill pickles
1 small onion, chopped
1-1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Paprika

Directinos:

-Place potatoes in a large saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook, uncovered, until tender, 15-20 minutes. Drain; cool completely.

-Cut potatoes into 3/4-in. cubes; place in a large bowl. Chop 4 eggs; slice remaining egg. Add chopped eggs, pickles and onion to potatoes. Mix mayonnaise, celery seed, salt and pepper; stir gently into potato mixture.

-Top with sliced egg and sprinkle with paprika. Refrigerate, covered, at least 2 hours before serving.

Steak & Eggs❤️❤️

-Steak and eggs is a wonderfully adaptable, unseasoned blank canvas. Use what you have on hand, such as a favorite steak seasoning or Creole if you want a little spiciness. We kept it basic with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

Ingredients:

1 1"-thick New York strip steak (about 13 oz.)
2 tbsp. vegetable oil, divided
1 tsp. Kosher salt, plus more for seasoning to taste
1 tsp. Freshly ground black pepper, plus more for seasoning to taste
3/4 tsp. smoked paprika, plus more for seasoning to taste
2 tbsp. butter
4 eggs
Roasted potatoes, for serving
Parsley, for serving
Dill, for serving

Directions:

-Remove steak from refrigerator and let come to room temperature, 30 minutes.

-Rub steak with 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and season all over with 1 ½ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, and ¾ teaspoon paprika.

-Heat a medium cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook, flipping once, until a deep golden crust begins to form on both sides of the steak, about 5 minutes total.

-Reduce heat to medium-low and add butter to pan. Using a kitchen towel, carefully grip the skillet handle and tilt towards you so that the melting butter forms a pool at the bottom of the skillet. Using a spoon, continually baste butter onto steak to form a deeper golden crust. Flip steak and repeat, 2 to 3 minutes in total. Using a meat thermometer, check for doneness: 120-125°F for medium rare, 130°F for medium.

-Transfer steak onto a cutting board and let rest about 10 minutes.

-Meanwhile, heat remaining oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Crack egg into pan and cook 3 to 4 minutes, or until white is set and edges are just beginning to brown. Remove from pan and season with salt and pepper.

-Slice steak into 1" strips on a bias, against the grain.

-Serve steak with eggs and potatoes. Garnish with herbs and season with more salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.

Egg Roll Bowl❤️❤️

-This nutritious and simple egg roll bowl is made by sautéing ground turkey, cabbage, and carrots all at once in a large skillet with the addition of all the delectable flavors that go into egg rolls.

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 lb ground turkey
1 small yellow onion, diced, about 1 cup
1 Tbsp minced fresh ginger
1 Tbsp minced garlic
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1 bag wonton strips, optional
minced green onions, optional
Sesame seeds, optional
Sriracha or chili, optional

Directions:

-In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat. Add the turkey, onion, ginger and garlic. Cook, stirring until the turkey is browned all the way through and no longer pink, about 8 mins. Drain off the liquid using a fine-mesh strainer.

-Return the meat mixture to the pan and add the cabbage, carrots, soy sauce, sugar and remaining teaspoon sesame oil. Cook until cabbage is tender, about 2-3 minutes.

-Serve the turkey and cabbage mixture drizzled with the sriracha, sprinkled with green onions, wonton strips and sesame seeds.

Egg fried rice❤️❤️

-Cook mixed vegetables in a stir-fry with rice and soy sauce for a cheap, filling, and delectable one-dish supper.

Ingredients:

500g white rice
100ml vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp of grated ginger
250g frozen mixed vegetables
1 tbsp dark soy sauce

Directions:

-Bring 2 litres of water to boil, add the rice, stir gently and cook for 10 minutes on high heat and drain into a colander.

-Spread the cooked rice on a large baking tray and allow to cool (fork gently every 2-3 minutes) . Heat 50ml of oil in a large wok, break two eggs and stir quickly to scramble.

-Add half the chopped onion, 1 tbsp of ginger, 1 tsp ground pepper and fry for 2-3 minutes.

-Add half the frozen mixed vegetables and fry for a further 5 minutes, stirring well.

-Throw in half the cooled rice and mix gently (or toss) for a further 5 minutes until the rice has heated through.

-Drizzle half tbsp of dark soy sauce and stir gently, check seasoning and add a pinch or two of salt, if required

-Rinse the wok and repeat the process with the other half of the ingredients

Mike’s favorite cheese is Jarlsberg. This wouldn’t seem particularly significant to you because you don’t know Mike’s history with cheese. The truth is, he doesn’t have much of one. He spent his youth being that sad dude who had his pizzas cheese-less, with only a slick of tomato sauce valiantly trying to keep the pepperoni hanging on (he still prefers it this way sometimes). See, Mike grew up allergic to cheese. Not a crazy allergy, just the hive-y kind. He didn’t avoid cheese like crazy, but it definitely wasn’t something that he enjoyed.
