After months of careful thought and many conversations, we have some news to share.
First, we want to thank the Helena Community for your support over the last nine and a half years. What started as a dream became something so much bigger because of all of you. Whether you’ve joined us for lunch, celebrated life’s milestones with us or made Benny’s part of your routine, we are incredibly grateful. The friendships, memories, and connections we’ve made along the way are something we’ll always treasure.
And yes, the rumors are true. We have made the decision to sell Benny’s and begin a new chapter. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one for our family. There are certainly mixed emotions that come with saying goodbye to something we’ve poured our hearts into for nearly a decade. Benny’s was one of the first restaurants in Montana to embrace the “eat local” movement and we did our best to be stewards of that. Although the faces may change, the identity will not.
We are so excited for the next iteration of Benny’s Bistro. New ownership brings new ideas, anew chef with fresher and better skills.
As we work through the final steps of the sale and transition, we will be temporarily suspending lunch services. Our final lunch service will be Friday June 19th. This will allow us to focus on a smooth transition and setting the next owner up for success.
We will continue to serve dinner from 5 to close Wednesdays through Saturdays.
We are beyond grateful for these last nine years and for the community that made them possible.
