Hey Friends!
If there was ever a post to read this is the one. You have all been so patient & thank you for reaching out inquiring about future events & when we would be open again.
I have been pretty radio silent for a few months now as I have been met with several hurdles. These 2 are just the tip of the ice berg.
End of November the heater in the coffee truck tripped over night causing a freeze, resulting in damages. And freezing just so happens to be the only thing excluded from the insurance policy. “Fine print”BUSINESS OWNERS- advice, triple check your policy) With not being able to work the coffee truck at all these last few months & having already gone through so many unexpected costly repairs with this truck from the beginning, I’m taking this as a sign from the universe, it’s time to step away. I need to remind myself to breathe, take a minute & take care of myself along the way & not let work consume my entire days everyday with me doing literally everything with running the business on my own & time away from my kids, there comes a time where you just have to make a choice on what’s best for your family.
Which is what I am choosing to do at this time, which also means any future plans of opening our location have come to an end.
Then the second week into January I was involved in a car accident. Everyone involved is okay, thank god! My car not so much. Being un-drivable and near a total loss. With the delay in parts it’s looking like I might have it back sometime in April.
At the end of the day no matter what’s going on I still have so much to be grateful for. I am beyond grateful for this entire experience, I have learned so much along the way, gaining experiences, learning lessons & growing in ways I never even imagined. I am blessed for each one of you who have supported me on this journey. I have met so many amazing humans I truly couldn’t be more humbled by all your support. I am going to miss all of you & hope to still see you around 🫶🏻
