The aspens go gold the last week of September into early October, which makes this the easiest weekend of the year to get everyone in one place. Nobody drives more than an hour, dinner is handled at the Lodgepole Grill, and the only thing on the schedule is a hike and the hot tub after.

Thanksgiving at the Lodge, Thursday, November 26.

Chef Ryan Estel is putting out roasted prime rib with au jus and horseradish, roasted turkey, baked honey ham, and salmon. Mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade stuffing, green bean casserole, traditional sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, shrimp cocktail, garden and Caesar salads, fruit salad, and rolls with whipped butter. Mac and cheese and chicken strips for the kids. Traditional pies to finish.
