POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Managing Partner (Phil Anacker) and the Director of Wholesale (Drew Thompson) the Production Associate will support Flying Goat Coffee’s operations through all the facets of order fulfillment. A successful candidate has a strong work ethic, is detail oriented, proactive, has excellent communication skills and enjoys physical work.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work as part of fast-paced team to fulfill wholesale and retail coffee orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate and maintain the weigh-and fill-machine, band sealer, scales, and grinders.
• Up to three times per week, this position requires loading, driving, and delivering regional orders to our wholesale customers throughout Sonoma County.
• Communicate with team members on a regular basis to ensure accurate fulfillment and production.
• Show initiative, present a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take direction.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Valid and clean California Driver’s License
• Comfortable operating a 20ft commercial van
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
• Familiarity with fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse work
• Coffee knowledge a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and read. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, and crouching throughout the shift. The employee must frequently lift or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
The hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
COMPENSATION
$18/hr+ depending on experience
Paid vacation and health benefits available at 30 hours per week
