Update:
Thank you all for your prayers, messages, and support—it means so much to our family.
Terri had three small strokes. She has lost some speech, cognitive ability, and use of her right side, and she is experiencing aphasia—she understands what’s happening but has difficulty expressing herself.
The good news is she is improving compared to the first few days. She has been transferred to Encompass for intensive rehab to work on speech, movement, and daily activities.
We know the road ahead is long, but we are so thankful for the progress she’s shown. I’ve been reading her all of your well wishes—they bring her encouragement.
Please continue to pray for pain relief, rest, healing, and for the pathways in her brain to rebuild.
We also want to thank all of our customers for being so understanding during this time. We will be reopening tomorrow, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate everything.
