Baxley, get ready! The Appling County Young Farmers Truck & Tractor Pull is back for 2026 — two nights of horsepower and great competition right here in Appling County.

Gates open at 5:00 PM and the show fires up at 7:00 PM on both Friday and Saturday night. Bring the whole family — this is one you don't want to miss.

🍦 Appreciation Post!! 🍦

Wow… what a weekend! We are so thankful for another amazing year at Peaches to Beaches. This was our 5th year in the same spot, and every year we are blown away by the support and the sweetest returning customers. Seeing familiar faces come back to see us each year means more than you know!

So many of you asked where our normal summer setup spot will be. We actually don’t have a permanent location, but I promise I’ll do a much better job this posting on here and letting everyone know where What’s the Scoop will be set up throughout the summer so you can come find us.

To our ball team families, your support is truly like no other. No matter what kind of setup we have, you always show up for us and we are so thankful. Y’all are some of our very best customers and we appreciate you more than words can say.

And to our workers, we absolutely couldn’t do this without y’all. Thank you for working so hard all weekend and helping make everything run smoothly. A special shoutout to Maysie Lewis you went above and beyond as always and we appreciate you so much!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a smile, and grabbed some ice cream this weekend. We can’t wait to see you again soon! 💗🍦

Come see us on New Years Day!

The Snipesville Community will host their annual New Year's Day celebration on Thursday, January 1, 2026 with a parade and traditional lunch menu.

🍽️ Menu will consist of barbecue pork or grilled chicken, black-eyed peas, yams, rolls, and cake. Plate prices are $12. Take out and Dine in at the center with lunch beginning at 11:30am.

🍰 There will be a cake auction, bouncy house, and Jimmy Ryles Kiddie Train. Vendors are welcome.

🚜 Parade begins at 2pm. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade, there is no entry fee. The parade is in need of antique cars, floats, horses, twirlers, or any other entries.

We will be set up by 11:00- see us for all your favorite treats!!
