Hazard Country Club Hazard Country Club is a golf and social club with restaurant, bar, golf course, and swimming pool. The club is private but membership is very affordable.

The cross country event scheduled for Monday, September 22nd has been rescheduled for NEXT Monday, September 29th. The full course will be open all evening on Monday, September 22nd.

On Monday, September 22nd, there will be a Cross Country event held at Hazard Country Club beginning at 5:30pm. The running course will use holes #1, #2, #3, and #9 during the races and will leave those holes and #8 closed during the races between 5:30-and approximately 7:00pm.

Holes #4 (from bottom tee), #5, #6 and #7 will be open for play/practice, but be mindful of race traffic. Thank you.

Hazard Country Club will be hosting 2 high school events this week. The course will be closed on Monday, August 18th beginning at 5pm and Wednesday, August 20th from 8:00am until approximately 4:00pm for the All 'A' Regional tournament.

Waylon Clutts held off Pete Cornett and Braxton Caldwell to win his second consecutive Hazard Invitational tournament on Sunday evening, finishing at -7, a single shot better than Caldwell and Cornett's -6. Looking to recapture the magic from last year's final round 59, Clutts even wore the same shirt and hat combo as in 2024. Unlike last year, he wasn't trailing by 5 entering the second round and he wasn't able to overwhelm the field on his way to victory with a birdie barrage.

This Sunday was about grit, sharing the lead for most of the day and carrying the expectations that come with being defending champion. He proved to be well suited to that type of victory as well, or maybe it was just that shirt and hat.

Congratulations to all flight winners (listed on the right) and thank you to all of the players, volunteers, staff and sponsors for allowing us to have another very successful Hazard Invitational Golf Tournament. We'll see you again next year on June 27th & 28th!

Morning play is moving through a little slower than anticipated, afternoon tee times will be pushed back at least 20 minutes to allow the final group of the morning (9:40am) to make the turn.

The first afternoon tee time will be planned for 12:20pm. The final group will be planned for 2:20pm.
