Can you believe it’s been 3 years?! 🥳🍦

We're celebrating both Halloween AND our 3-year anniversary on October 31st from 3pm-5pm... and you're invited!!! Yes, all of the kiddos dressed in costume will get a free ice cream as we've done every year since we've opened. But we thought it would be fun to take a little trip down memory lane and share some before (and after) pictures of the shop, some LONGGGGG before we ever opened our doors.

When we bought the building back in August 2021, to say it was in rough shape would be a massive understatement! 😅 It took a lot of work to bring this space back to life, but seeing the store consistently filled with ice cream, laughter, and your smiles makes every single bit of that hard work completely worth it.

We want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you, our loyal customers. This journey isn't a success without you and we couldn't be more grateful for your support.

Check out the transformation below and come grab a scoop with us on Halloween to help us celebrate! 🍨✨

We are absolutely loving all the amazing sidewalk artwork we’ve seen so far! 🎨 A huge shoutout to everyone who has stopped by to leave their mark (literally)! One of the best parts of the past week has been looking out the window and watching so many adults happily tackling the hopscotch and other obstacle courses that were drawn on the ground... it has been hilarious and heartwarming! 🏃‍♂️❤️
Want to add your own flair to our concrete canvas? You can stop by anytime! Just head up to our walk-up window and ask our team for a bucket of chalk.
A few quick rules for our artists:
🎨 Pick your canvas: Take a look at the map photo to see the eligible areas highlighted in teal (Main Street and North 6th St. sidewalks).
🖍️ Keep it clean: Please keep all artwork family-friendly. No questionable or derogatory drawings!
♻️ Share the fun: Simply bring the chalk bucket back to the window when you're done so the next person can use it.
Come grab your favorite ice cream, let out your inner child, and keep making downtown Hays so colorful! 🍦✨

What an incredible evening for March 2 Main! 🍦✨

We had an absolute blast seeing all the new and returning students from Fort Hays State University, Fort Hays Tech | North Central, and Hays Academy of Hair Design in Downtown Hays!

Between the FHSU marching band bringing the energy and GALLONS of ice cream (for the root b**r floats), downtown Hays was buzzing with excitement. A huge shoutout to Chief of Police Don Scheibler for jumping in on scooping duty to help us serve up smiles! 🍨👮‍♂️

We’re so proud to be part of this community and can’t wait to see you all down on The Bricks this school year! 💛🖤
