Yesterday Parker and I spent the day at Big Cube Battle of Waterloo and it was one exciting day!! New personal best 3x3 single of 8.76 seconds, new personal best 2x2 single of 1.73 seconds, new personal best 2x2 average of 2.63 seconds & for the first time in this cubing journey (8 years of competition), FINALLY a podium finish of Third Place overall!! HUGE congratulations to you, Parker!!

Our neighbors in Postville and surrounding communities have been deeply devastated by the fire at the largest employer in Allamakee County. I am currently working on ways to help our neighbors in need - I have some ideas, but want to make sure we are helping and not overwhelming. Right now, I am just making this post to put out awareness and feelers for anyone that may be interested in meeting immediate needs for the families impacted. Send me a message here or stop by the shop and we can talk as I find out more information.

Happening in Hawkeye!! Tomorrow night from 5-7 is the annual Hawkeye Lions Club ice cream social! This is a great family friendly event that brings the town together. It's a great time to share a meal with your neighbors and learn more about volunteering in our community!

If you haven't noticed or spoken with me, HCC has to take a summer off from the free meals we offered each week in the summer.

I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of this program, and send the coffee shop a message or stop in and visit with me if you're interested but transportation is an issue!!
