This week, our friends at Havelock Donuts brought five trays of fresh donuts to RCS, and while the gift may seem simple, the impact was anything but.

At RCS, we work every day to fight food insecurity and connect our neighbors with nutritious food and essential resources. But we also know that care is about more than meeting basic needs—it’s about creating moments of joy, dignity, and connection.

A fresh donut, shared with a smile, can brighten a difficult day. It’s a reminder that someone thought of you, someone cared, and you are valued.
