After 8 years, Logan’s Soft Serve is closing. There have been many smiles, laughs, and waffle cones over the past 8 summers. I was in the 7th grade when I brought up the idea of running an ice cream shop. I begged Dad and spent all my time on marketplace until we were eventually going up to Indy to buy our first machine. Dad and I built the iconic blue shack over the winter and opened in May of 2016 with no clue what we were doing. We learned as we went, treated our customers as friends, and kept getting busier!Thank you to our amazing customers. I loved seeing our weekly regulars whose orders never changed. And I loved introducing Haubstadt to new customers from out of town. Haubstadt is a special place and we thank everyone who has supported us along the way! I want to thank my family who has sacrificed so much. My amazing parents supported me and my dreams every step of the way. My siblings came to the rescue whenever I needed them. Running a business is not an easy task and hard on a family, but we managed together. There were good times and some rough, but 8 amazing years of memeories and growth. It’s very sad to see it go but don’t worry! You can still get your ice cream fix at Kelsey’s Kones at Camp Reveal. The shop will be ran by special needs and all profits will go to benefit the special needs community activities at Camp Reveal. Thank you all for believing in me and the best summers ever-Logan🍦💙
