To our wonderful friends, patrons and community:
Just over 5 years ago, my wonderful husband agreed to take a huge leap with me and open Twisted Skillet. It had been a dream of mine for years to own a restaurant and Sebe made it possible. We knew it would be a lot of work and would take time and dedication to get it to succeed. I truly believe, with the support and love of each of you, that we did succeed. What we never expected during those discussions on what we would have to do to make it would be a pandemic unlike any our country has seen in a 100 years. COVID arrived, and everything changed.
For more than a year, we have adapted to changes that have occurred what feels every hour only to face more the next day. We truly felt things were about to get better and that we were coming through this pandemic when numbers began to drop, people started to get vaccinated and everything opened back up. Except it didn’t. Business started booming, but we couldn’t find employees to help make it work and prices are going up and now so are COVID numbers.
With all the new uncertainty. With all the new challenges. Sebe and I have made a hard decision. We are closing Twisted as of July 31st. It was not a decision we made lightly and we are very sad it has come to this, especially after all my wonderful husband has done to see my dream to fruition but it has just become to difficult to manage in this time.
We would like to thank each of you for your wonderful support these past 5 years. For sticking by us through all this craziness. If you know of someone wishing to buy a wonderful, successful and popular restaurant - have them contact us because we would love to see someone come and take it into the future.
