Hello everyone.  First and foremost, we want to thank you for your patience while we have focused to re-organize and find the best approach forward for The Heritage Tavern.  We know from the feedback we have received that people are invested in keeping the place open and seeing it thrive just as much as we are.
As you  may also know we are a family run business, with us/Mark and Teri, being at the core of everything we do.  And when we embarked on this adventure, we were optimistic and energetic, knowing that we could revive the space and provide a solid "go to" spot for the town.  In our efforts we didn't realize that it was going to take more than just energy, but also health and stamina to keep focused and put in the time it is going to take to become a solid establishment. We have listened and we have made changes, but at this time we find ourselves in an impasse where health has to come first.
This is our dream, but sometimes dreams need to be put on hold. Therefore, due to health issues, and the time it's going to take to implement your feedback properly, though it breaks our hearts  we have to announce that we can't continue. We just to have to focus on family first right now. 
This all said, we want to avoid closing the doors for any long length of time if at all possible. And to that end, we have established an absolute turnkey business  for someone /partners who would be interested in grabbing the torch from us and making The Heritage Tavern what it certainly is in line to be. So please share this information and let's see if we can get the doors open and the place back on track soon.
Lastly, and most importantly, we just want to extend the biggest "thank you" to the town and to the people who truly embraced us in our short time together.  We did a lot of good things and have built some wonderful friendships. Memories that will be everlasting.
