When we opened Sunflower Kitchen on 07/31/24 we knew we would meet some great people. My vision was to make this place feel like home and to make our customers feel like family. Alan and his wife Jerry came in every day, sometimes twice a day. I’d always make a point to step out of the kitchen and wave at them if I couldn’t go out and say hi, even if I was 20 tickets busy on the line. They were very dear and special to us. They definitely became family, grandpa and grandma. Someone once asked me why, why do I wave at them? Because you never know when it going to be the last time.
We will be CLOSED on Saturday 10/24/26 so that myself and any other of my team that wants to can attend the service for Alan.
I’m sincerely sorry for the inconvenience as I know it’s a Saturday. Each and every one of you that come in to Sunflower Kitchen mean more to us than just being a customer. You’re all family. Thank you for your support and understanding.
