Our van has been BUSY this weekend — Lincoln, Omaha, and everywhere in between. ☕️

But sometimes the founder has to reconnect with his roots and remember where it all started.

Sometimes it’s really not about the money. It’s about doing what you genuinely enjoy. Farmers markets have always felt special to me. If you know me, you know I’m fascinated by our products, I love talking about coffee, and I could talk to customers all day. 😂 Connecting with the people who support us is still one of the best parts of this journey.

While the van is out serving coffee to literally thousands of people, I still love getting behind the table, talking coffee, and remembering how this whole thing started.

In a few words: Thank you, Nebraska. ❤️

Sidy & Keith — one from Mali 🇲🇱, one from Philadelphia 🇺🇸 — out here in Nebraska trying to figure it all out, one cup at a time.

And somehow… it’s working. ☕️

Growing a business takes more than just sweat!

I think it’s a good sign when the things you used to manage completely on your own are no longer manageable as a one-man show.

I’ve been working 12–14 hours a day, 7 days a week, and there still aren’t enough hours to get everything done. That means it’s time to grow the team!

☕ COFFEE ROASTER
Part-time | 2–3 days per week
Looking for someone dependable and willing to learn the roasting side of our business.

🚐 COFFEE VAN COORDINATOR
Part-time or Full time
Must be 25+ with a good driving record and comfortable driving and operating our coffee van. Must be available for some early mornings, weekends, and late evenings.

Pay will be discussed based on the position and experience.

We’re a growing small business, so I’m looking for people who are reliable, hardworking, and excited to grow with us.

HOW MUCH THE COFFEE INDUSTRY HAS CHANGED! ☕️

A Man With Multiple Hats 🎩

That’s the life of a small business owner. One minute you’re the owner, next you’re the barista, delivery driver, salesperson, marketer, problem solver, and everything in between.

Growth isn’t always pretty, but every hat teaches you something. ☕️📈

So I hurt my pinky playing football for the Cornhuskers, and Coach told me the only way I’m getting back on the roster is if I work at LD Coffee Roasters on 12th Street in Hastings. 😂🌽🏈

I’m doing my part… now I need you to do yours! Come grab a coffee so I can get back on the roster! ☕️😂
