HAPPY TUESDAY, GOOD PEOPLE!

Just wanted to pop in first to say THANK YOU! Your continued love and support have played a major part in the growth of LJ’z Backyard Bayou. We’ve been putting our goals into the atmosphere, praying for God’s guidance, and working behind the scenes to prepare for what’s next. 🙏🏾💜💚💛
THURSDAY EVENING HOURS?

We’ve been seriously considering opening on Thursday evenings! Before making that move, we’re building stronger systems and interviewing people who would be a great fit for the LJ’z family. We’ve had the opportunity to meet some truly amazing people, and honestly, selecting the right team members has been difficult because so many of them appear to fit perfectly with our culture. That’s a wonderful problem to have!

WE’RE TESTING A NEW SERVICE SYSTEM

To improve service and reduce wait times, we’ve been experimenting with:

• Smaller parties ordering and paying at the register before being seated
• Larger parties receiving menus and having their orders taken at the table
• Table service accommodations for our elderly guests and families traveling with infants

We’re still testing, so please let us know how the experience is working for you. We listen, and constructive feedback is always welcome because that’s how we grow! We simply avoid negative energy that doesn’t offer a solution—it’s draining, and it doesn’t help anybody move forward.

DELIVERY MAY BE COMING!

We’re also in discussions with Uber Eats and DoorDash. This is new territory for us, so please give us a little time to learn the process and get everything set up correctly. We heard you, and we’re working to accommodate you!

THANKSGIVING MENU COMING SOON!

Yes—we’ve been receiving your calls! Our Thanksgiving menu will be released within the next couple of weeks.

If you’ve ordered from us before, welcome back! If you haven’t, come taste the love! Our holiday dishes will be available in pan sizes and gallon containers—perfect for helping you complete your Thanksgiving table without spending all day in the kitchen.
