Hey Hart County! 💙

We’re so excited to continue our Chamber Ambassador Spotlight series and recognize the amazing ambassadors who help make our community so special!

Our Chamber Ambassadors are always out supporting local businesses, volunteering at events, welcoming new members, and lending a helping hand wherever needed. They truly are a huge part of the backbone of our Chamber, and we are beyond thankful for each and every one of them.

Today, we’re excited to spotlight: 🌟 Kayla Beck Segars 🌟

You can usually find Kayla at multiple spots around town whether it’s at Segars Garage, Backstreet BBQ, or down at the boat ramp cheering on her son while he catches those big ole bass out on Lake Hartwell! 🎣💙

Kayla is such a huge impact on our community and a shining light to everyone around her. Through both her businesses and her involvement in Hartwell, she helps make this community the special place we all know and love.

We are so thankful to have Kayla as a Chamber Ambassador and appreciate all the love and support she pours back into Hart County!

Our local emergency service folks hold a special place near and dear to hearts here at Backstreet. After 26 years of business we have had to call for help our fair share of times. They have been in the office, the kitchen, & even to our houses and have always given us the best and most compassionate care. They are truly some special folks 💗

SHOUT OUT to Backstreet BBQ!!! Today's lunch was awesome. Thank you for always donating a meal during EMS week. We appreciate you!!!

Backstreet BBQ is PROUD to announce that Cooper Sanders and Kain Norris AKA THE BBQ BOYS have DOUBLE QUALIFIED FOR THE MLF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP on Lake Cumberland!!!
This afternoon the boys finished 5th with an impressive 17.15 pound sack in the GHSA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP on Lake Sinclair! The pair also brought a 6 pound 10 ounce HAWG to the scale to secure the big fish medal🏅
Cooper, Kain, nor their Captain Jim had ever stepped foot on Lake Sinclair until yesterday morning. They rolled out of Hartwell around 3am Friday and went hard as soon as they got to Milledgeville. Their hard work payed off and they are bringing back more hardware to Hartwell!! Backstreet BBQ is extremely proud of this team and the season they have had.

Backstreet doesn’t just cook the HAWGS, we catch ‘em 😉🎣

Blessed and Busy!
This weekend we have had the privilege of catering a business luncheon, the send off for the Varsity baseball team, a guys golf retreat, and a very special “Take a Veteran fishing event” at Gum Branch.
We had some awesome individuals pitch in to help with various different roles with the Veterans fishing event and we owe them a special thank you… Our Awesome employees for getting to work early to put together these lunch sacks, Mrs. Amanda at The Hart County Chamber of Commerce, Tommy and Kellie Royston, Chad Hart, Mark Harris, Shaun Miller, Amanda Carter, and Nichole Carroll! These folks didn’t hesitate to help when we reached out and it reminds me that even on the busy and tired days we live in the absolute best community EVER!!
Kayla and Billy wrapped up the weekend with a tiny Gum Branch delivery to a couple of anglers that just didn’t want to come off the water after participating in the Gum Branch Open this morning!
We promise there ain’t nothing like a Lake Hartwell weekend ❤️🫶🏻🐷
